Crestline Realty Corporation was established January 1, 1996. One of our primary objectives was to become the industry leaders in the management of multi-family housing under the low income housing tax credit program. Currently over 73% of the dwellings we manage are part of the LIHTC program. The directors of the corporation believed that the property management industry as a whole was lacking in the attention to detail concerning compliance with the low income housing tax credit program. They determined that due to the complexities of the LIHTC program, large property management companies could not provide the necessary level of training to their property managers and on site employees to ensure full compliance with all tax credit requirements. They also concluded that turnover of employees at all levels of large firms was creating inconsistencies regarding proper documentation of resident files, proper rents being charged and other equally important compliance issues. The directors also decided to start a property management company which would be small enough to retain, develop, and train all employees that work with the LIHTC program. It is a fundamental objective of Crestline Realty Corporation to obtain the highest possible compliance rating, while providing the highest quality living conditions possible to the residents. This is how Crestline Realty was born.
